Highland Lake Memories (revised)

Inspiration

My most cherished memories are connected with time spent hiking, swimming, boating, water skiing, and just being out doors surrounded b y the "natural world". One can have a similar experience enjoying art that stimulates our minds and spirits in a similar way. It's fractals you see! The curving shoreline, drifting clouds, and trees are examples of objects made up of fractals. The neural circuits with which we process information and relate to our world are also made of fractals. Just observing an image loaded with fractals will relax you in less than a minute. So enjoy a cruise on a beautiful mountain lake, feel the gentle wind, the sun's warmth, and imagine the sound of lapping water against the boat's hull. These are the ideas and feelings that led to the creation of this composite photo art piece. There were a total of eight photographs combined to produce this composite image.
