Waiting Her Turn At The Watering Hole

Inspiration

It's been a hot, dry day and all of these animals are waiting their turn at the neighboring watering hole but the big grey Elephant is right in front at the end of the path to be sure of getting in next. I started with the background, wanting the appearance of a sunset at a watering hole. All animals were added as composite images. I used the Flood Filter for the water reflections. The image was processed in Topaz Studio, Texture Effects and Photoshop CC 2018 was used to construct the layers. I added some flying birds with a Photoshop brush. I used the burn tool to create shadows for a sunset look. All animals except two of the giraffes are from Pixaby, the remaining two giraffes were photographed at Wildlife Safari in Winston Oregon.
