As spring arrives late, as usual, it still inspires new artwork about the newness of the outside world and how we can all get out and start enjoying the outdoors again. Winter is enjoyable for many, but there is nothing like the promise of new life that spring brings. In this piece, the constellations are Virgo in the upper left corner area, Hydra in the center top area, and Bootes in the upper right corner area. All three are constellations one can expect to see in the spring, although they are not necessarily shown here in their natural relationship to one another. The vintage constellation chart shows Hydra and Virgo near the top. The vaulted ceilings may remind some of the religious holidays in the spring. If not, let them serve as a reminder to go outside. Get out of the house or building and experience the outdoors. Go to the lake, watch the ducks, and breathe the fresh spring air.
