The "Global Array" series came out of a trip many years ago to Stonehenge. I was able to walk inside the circle while a guide explained that the mineral composition of the stones, and the way they were arranged, was very similar to how a battery operates. My mind has been blown ever since, and in my imagination, I saw the megalithic structures on Earth as part of a huge transistor or motherboard, created to transmit information into space. Fanciful? Yes. But I loved the idea of combining these ancient sites with modern technological references. And so the "Global Array" series was born. See my other pieces, "Global Array-Stonehenge" and "Global Array-Giza".
