About the Ostrich is a fun typographical collage filled with random imagery, taxonomy, quotes, facts and a whole lot of respect for the natural world. The flightless ostrich is the largest living species of bird and also lays the largest eggs. Their current habitat is now limited to the Africa savannas and grasslands. However, their populations previously spread into the Arabian Peninsula and even southwestern Asia. There is no truth to the idea that ostriches bury their heads in the sand. With their long legs they can outrun most predators instead of hiding from them.
